On the long and sandy beach between Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas...
THE Gay Beach in Gran Canaria - So if you hear about the "Gay Beach", it is this part of the beach.

The beach was formely known by its kiosk - The No. 7
Now it is located between Chiringuito No. 5 & 6

Sunloungers and umbrellas are for rent - Otherwise there is also enough sand beach in front of the sea to lay down.
The only negative is the partly strong wind, which makes lying in the sand sometimes a bit uncomfortable.

The Gay Beach Beach can be reached either by foot from the Faro (lighthouse) of Maspalomas, along the sea towards Playa del Ingles, on the left side.

From the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas across the Dunes of Maspalomas - You need to follow the path marked with wooden posts.

Important - Pay attention to the flag before bathing:

Green: Everything's okay
Yellow: Be careful
Red: Bathing absolutely forbidden (Att. fines)
