The big charity Gala in the Yumbo Center

Traditionally, the show on the main stage on Thursday during the Gay Pride Gran Canaria is dedicated to ACES.

For this and all the other offical events during the Gay Pride Gran Canaria 2012 we (GayMaspalomas) like also to send our special thanks to Derek Payne (President Gay&Lesbian Association Yumbo).

Without his special effort and work over the last 11 months, this Gay Pride would never have been possible.

Thanks also to all the others who helped to make this event into what it is - Just Great!

At this point, first of all a few more words about ACES.

ACES - Amigos contra el Sida

For 12 years now ACES supports people in the fight against the virus!
There are 3 offices in Gran Canaria - Maspalomas, Las Palmas and Vecindario!

ACES is also taking special care in preventing the disease with conversations and discussions and also with the distribution of condoms in bars, clubs and to prostitutes!

At this point many, many thanks for the hard work and effort from ACES in the fight against the HI Virus!

With today's stage show "To ACES With Love" donations were collected again. ACES can not live without this help.
Of course, candles were sold again (2.00 €) which were placed as the red ribbon on the square in the Yumbo Centre!
(The amount of the donations will be announced in the coming days!)

The show today was really a very, very good one - quiet ballads, party and an emotional end!

To make this not too long, all the singers and artists of the evening were great, yet we would like to mention just a few!

A very emotional evening of Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012 came to an end!

The last song was "The day after that", followed by all the artists of this evening who came to the stage with a candle in their hands and placed them on the edge of the stage - goosebumps again!

An important evening came to an end, we hope a high amount was donated - unfortunately, the text has become a bit longer, but this charity show deserves that!

Tomorrow (Friday) on the main stage: The big Drag Queen Gala - of course we will be there!
