The first Pride Walk of Winter Pride - Followed by a Schlagerparty

This was a premiere in Gran Canaria - We are celebrating the second edition of Winter Pride Maspalomas and for the first time there was also a parade in Playa del Ingles.

The Pride Walk...

Thus, Playa del Ingles has now two pride parades - This was indeed the first Pride Walk, but certainly not the last of the Winter Pride. Even the start of the parade was on time at 6pm.

Of course, and this is totally clear:
You cannot compare the number of people to the mass of people in May, but that's not a criticism.

It was nice the streets well filled and through the twilight with a really great atmosphere - A float led the Pride Walk, which brought the party to the Av. de Tirajana.

Like the "big parade" the Pride Walk started at Hotel Riu Palace and dragged along the Av. de Tirajana, to the Yumbo Center, where it ended (at around 7pm)

The Yumbo filled up quickly and a DJ filled up the gap to the start of the first show on the stage -
Schlagerparty at 9pm.

After a punctual start of the show, Ladina entertained the audience with German hits of Helene Fischer (Atemlos, Unser Tag, Marathon) and Andrea Berg (Du hast mich tausend mal belogen,...)

With German hits and an international audience - A great success and a successful conclusion of the 11/11/2015.

But of course there were not only German hits - As well Bon Jovi's It's my life and many other evergreens were performed on the stage...

Today's party in the Yumbo Center is not yet over and Maspalomas Winter Pride has also started on the stage in Yumbo...

Tomorrow (Thursday) evening: Gran Canaria Big Band Swing Night (from 8:30pm).
