Maspalomas Pride - Parade through Playa del Ingles
The annual highlight of Pride Week - The great parade through Playa del Ingles.
As last year, the parade started at 5pm (a change which was really very rational and good)...
The weather was once again a dream - Yes, blue sky, sunshine and pleasantly warm. Playa del Ingles/Gran Canaria has shown itself (at least from the weather) from its best side!
The route of the Parade...
From the Hotel Riu Palace, along the Av. de Tirajana, to almost "the end", passing by the Hotel AxelBeach Maspalomas and turned right behind the Hotel Rondo - From there with a big bow to the Yumbo Center, where it ended...
Almost on time (at 5pm) the parade started - 29 Floats in the streets and many, many people have celebrated the Pride 2017.
The local police said, it were more than 80,000 people (more than ever...), who celebrated in the streets of Playa del Ingles...
These are the figures reported and published by the Officials.
A subjective opinion - there were fewer people compared to 2016 (at least later in the Yumbo Center).

We are here for those who can not speak out...
Of course, Saturday is far from over - the whole Yumbo Center was crowded.
The party continued with a DJ Session in the Yumbo Center until the next live stage show followed at 10pm.
Whatever the reason is, quite sure, that at least 90% of people in the Yumbo Center would be happy and satisfied with a DJ for the whole evening.
A moderated show after the parade, lots of alcohol and party - the right thing?
But well, no one asks us and so at 10pm started the Gala on the main stage...
On Sunday: From 10pm - Closing Gala on the main stage, followed by the Freedom Mafia Closing Party...
