The Big One - The final show on the main stage in 2012

With today's fourth and final show on the main stage in the C.C. Yumbo the Gay Pride Gran Canaria 2012 came to an end!

With a delay of one hour "The Big One" started with the great first act of Eva la Diva (I just wanna fucking dance) together with the Esensual Dance Company, followed by Kelly Wilde with her hits "Gloria" and "I Need a Hero".

It was a perfect intro, the people celebrated from the beginning with this show!

From Jan George, Jaymi, Ivan Gardesa to the Cheeky Girls and Steptastic - on the stage was
someone for nearly everyone for sure. The Special Act of today's stage show was Basshunter, who ended this evening on the main stage!

The final gala show was sponsored by Sparkless Showbar (Yumbo Center) and moderated by Eva la Diva who also performed the song "And when a hero comes along" (Spanish version) and so took care for the romantic part of the show!

We are very disappointed - and unfortunately we have no further information - that the big fireworks
did not take place today! A lot of people were very surprised and in our opinion, the Gay Pride Maspalomas deserves a fireworks at the end - very sad!

Nevertheless, it was a great Gay Pride 2012, with many great moments, highlights and stage shows.

For all that our very special thanks to ALL, who helped to create this event, to all the artists and singers and especially to all the sexy and powerful dancers!

We want to mention Lord Derek Payne (Glay President) again, who could not see the result of his work during the last months. Unfortunately he became ill and therefore could not participate in the Pride.

Derek - Get well soon and thank you!

It was again a great and very stressful Gay Pride Gran Canaria 2012!

And it has not completely ended yet: Tomorrow (Sunday) starting at noon: The Lesbian Pool Party (Las Walkirias) with the Miss Lesbian Gran Canaria 2012 competition and the Closing Foam Party starting at 4pm in the Yumbo Centre!

The Gay Pride Maspalomas 2013 will also come for sure and the year will pass by very quickly.
The dates have not been fixed yet and the following dates are just provisional...
