The Power of Love - The big fundraising gala for ACES

Yes!!, That was the real kick-off show of Gay Pride Maspalomas 2013!

It was the Charity Night on stage - more than 6,000 people were in the Yumbo Center tonight and
the atmosphere was really great!

The Power of Love with the hits of the 70s and 80s - The fundraising gala for ACES!

ACES - Amigos contra el Sida

ACES, the local HIV charity in Gran Canaria.

A very useful organization that takes care of more than
500 people living with HIV and tries to protect 700 prostitutes with preventive measures against HIV infection.

ACES is also engaged in prevent HIV and education, with lectures and for example free condoms in the Yumbo Center...

An organization that does many useful things and can only help with your donations!

Of course, this year candles were sold again (1 €/candle), which were set up tonight in the Yumbo Center
in the form of the AIDS ribbon! Also donations were collected.

Last year in 2012, more than 2,000 € were collected for ACES.
And of course you can donate not only on this evening - in many bars you will find donation boxes for ACES....

The Power of Love - the theme of this evening!

No competition tonight, just a good show on the stage.

Ladina and Jimmy in a duet, The Boy George Experience, AKA (Michael Jackson Tribute) Kyle Finn - this is just to name a few who entertained you in the Yumbo Center tonight...

The show was hosted by Peggy Wessex!

This was the real kick off show of Gay Pride 2013, now this will continue to the big final gala on Sunday....

Tomorrow Thursday: Blue Adult Drag Comedy in Las Walkirias (2pm - 7pm) and in the evening starting at 9pm a
Fashion Show (on stage), together with the Mr. Deaf Drag Gala Competition.
